General Terms and Conditions (as of 01.05.2024)

When you register by e-mail or via the online form, you expressly declare your consent to the sending of the invoice by electronic means.

§ 1 Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all consultations, support during individual sessions, online courses, workshops, and events offered by Stefanie García Laule or Simone Roob, hereinafter referred to as the "Provider."

These General Terms and Conditions, together with the respective service descriptions and participation requirements, apply to all bookings and participation.

Any conflicting terms and conditions of participants shall not apply unless expressly accepted by the Provider.

§ 2 Booking

Bookings for online services, workshops, or events can be made through the online registration form or by email and are binding.

A contract is concluded when the Provider sends the booking confirmation.

§ 3 Right of Withdrawal, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

1. SYOMA LIVE Workshops

We voluntarily grant participants a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the contract is concluded.

During this period, participants may withdraw from their booking without providing a reason by sending an email. Any payments already made will be refunded in full.

After this period, free cancellation is generally no longer available. In the event of non-attendance, participants are generally not entitled to a refund of the participation fee.

2. Other Consultations, Online Services, and Events

For all other services, cancellations or rescheduling are free of charge up to four weeks before the scheduled appointment.

For cancellations made after this deadline, participants are generally not entitled to a refund of payments already made, to the extent permitted by law.

3. Statutory Rights

Statutory rights of withdrawal, cancellation, termination, and other mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected by these provisions.

§ 4 Payment Terms

After booking a service or event, participants will receive a booking confirmation and an invoice by email.

Payment must be made by bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice. The invoice amount is due before the booked service takes place.

For SYOMA LIVE Workshops, the workshop place will be confirmed once payment has been received. Zoom access details will be sent by email in good time before the workshop begins.

§ 5 Changes and Cancellation by the Provider

The nature and scope of the services offered are determined by the respective service description.

The Provider reserves the right to make minor changes that do not alter the overall nature of the booked service and are reasonable for the participant.

If a booked workshop or event is canceled by the Provider, any participation fees already paid will be refunded in full.

Alternatively, participants may choose another available date if they wish.

If a workshop or event is rescheduled, participants may choose whether to attend the new date or receive a full refund of any participation fees already paid.

§ 6 Liability

The Provider shall be fully liable for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health caused by a culpable breach of duty.

In cases of slight negligence involving a breach of essential contractual obligations, liability shall be limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract.

In all other cases, liability for damages caused by slight negligence shall be excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

§ 7 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.

Mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.

The statutory rules governing jurisdiction shall apply to any legal disputes.

§ 8 Nature and Limitations of Services

SYOMA is a method of energetic and spiritual work. Our services are intended for personal development and for learning about and applying this method.

The services offered do not constitute medical, alternative medical, or psychotherapeutic diagnosis or treatment and are not intended to replace such services.

We make no promises of healing and do not guarantee any specific health benefits or outcomes.

Participants are expressly advised to seek medical or psychotherapeutic assistance for health concerns and not to discontinue any ongoing treatment without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.

§ 9 Severability clause
The possible invalidity of individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity of the remaining agreements.
